Mark your calendars, lace up your shoes, get off your couch, because the annual Campus on the Run event is only a couple months away.  Some of you may have established New Years’ resolutions, others may be looking to establish personal records; whatever your reason, it’s time to run.  You have a reason, good; you’ve got motivation, great; now how were you planning to train?  That’s right; you have two months from now until then to prepare your body for this 5K run.  You weren’t planning on hibernating on your La-Z-Boy until the morning of, were you?  Unfortunately the human body doesn’t respond well to training programs such as this, otherwise we’d all be as fast as Usain Bolt, have as much endurance as Lance Armstrong, or be as powerful as Chuck Norris.  You have eight weeks to prepare yourself but you need a plan.  Follow the links below and you will find some helpful running tips as well as a training program for those who are beginning and for those who are experienced.  It’s time to train!
