Event Description

Campus on the Run is a 5K (3.1 mile) road race on the WSU campus, co-sponsored by the Center for Civic Engagement and University Recreation. Community members are welcome along with students, faculty, spouses, or partners. Both runners and walkers are encouraged to participate.

Timing System:   For the third year, Campus on the Run will be timed by Across the Line Timing.  This system provides more accurate results that can be provided to the participants within seconds of finishing the race.  Results will be announced as racers finish and will be posted online after the race concludes.

Eligibility: This event is open to anyone who is 6 years of age or older on the day of the race. (Current varsity cross-country or track athletes are not eligible to participate)

Sponsorship: Each year, Campus on the Run sponsors a local non-profit organization through proceeds generated by participation. This year, Family Promise of the Palouse was selected to be sponsored by the event.  Family Promise of the Palouse is a nonprofit organization that operates through an Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) to provide immediate shelter to homeless families in the community while helping people achieve lasting independence.
